While I don’t have a history of being into country music, as a Texan (H-Town stand up!), I have long had an affinity for country/western style and cowboy culture, which I talk about a bit in episode 8 of the current Black Style Anecdotes season. In listening to the album, like many of you, I learned about Linda Martell. One of my favorite things to do when I hear the name of someone I’m not familiar with is Google them. Sometimes, I read a quick overview on Wikipedia; other times I go down a rabbit hole. I kinda did the latter on Linda Martell, particularly images of her, today.
